Braves take 2/3 over Padres

Positive: Atlanta won their first series since their opening series against L.A., Smoltz pitched the first complete game by a starter this year, Thomson had another strong outing, Francoeur knocked a GW HR while continuing to get on base.

Negative: Bullpen blunders caused this series from becoming a sweep. Edgar Renteria strains his rib cage and will take most of the week off.

What's Next: A 9 game road trip to be exact. Starting tonight against the N.Y. Mets. The Mets will try everything in their power to take this series. Pedro vs. Jorge Sosa will be the probables for the first of three games.

The AJC is reporting that the Braves could have new ownership by July. Current bidders are Arthur Blank, Lew Dickey, Jr. Family, Liberty Media, and Ron Terwilliger. New ownership has been talked about since last November when Time Warner stated they were entertaining offers.
